What Makes East Cincy Yoga Teacher Training Unique?

Learn to truly teach - Whether or not you go through training to be an instructor or just for yourself, our program isn't about memorizing and reciting sequences. Instead, an emphasis is placed on teaching principles for clearly instructing students bodies into alignment. Also, if you prefer more 1 on 1 training that is more personable, in a small group setting, then this is the training for you. We have a maximum of 10 students during training in order to maintain that personal and intimate setting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 30 yoga classes  - various styles (included with training fee)
  • 10 Self Lead Classes (Sunday Mornings 10:30-12p)
  • 2  - 20 min.Teacher Trainings in class with peers
  • 1 Karma Yoga Class  - 1 hour
  • 10 Karma Hours - (volunteer hours) -  anything to help another living being along with a Reflective Paper - nothing big, just telling how it impacted the other as well as yourself
  • Attend all Modules for Certification - Any module missed you can make it up in the next year training session. It is required that all Modules be taken within 2 years time from when you first begin training.

1-2 weekends a month 12 modules, each during 1 weekend Saturday and Sunday at the Studio.

Payment Plans

Pay as you go - If a payment plan is a bit easier, a Non Refundable Down Payment of $500 and then 6 monthly payments of $315 Jan-June. Please note that if you miss a module you can make it up in the next year in order to receive certification.

FAQ'S

Can I join at any time, even if the training has begun?

Yes, you can join at any point - for example, if you begin at Module 9, that's fine - you can complete the other modules when the next training session begins. You just have to complete all modules within a 1 year time frame. However, Early Bird Specials are ONLY at the beginning of training.

What if I miss a Module during training?

Again, no problem if you miss a module as you can make it up in the next training.

How long should I be practicing yoga before beginning training?

This is up to each individual - When you are ready to go deeper you will know. This is not about how far you can stretch your body, it's more like - how far can you open and stretch your mind.

Where are you located? -

 

Our Amelia Studio is off the Beechmont Exit going toward Bethel - You can't miss the BIG blue building on the right! - Parking is behind the building but is limited so for larger events use the parking lot next door as well as the local park parking lot just down the street. 64 East Main St Amelia oh 45102

 

 

What do I wear? - You should wear comfy clothes, something you can move easily in. Try to wear a shirt that is a little longer so you have some room to move freely while stretching.

 

What do I bring? -  Bring an open mind, this will be most beneficial. If you have a mat you should bring it, but we have mats you can borrow if you are just starting out. When you are ready we have mats for purchase. Water - always bring a water bottle with you, it is important to stay hydrated as well as flushing out any toxins that will be released through the practice.

How do I pay? - Your first class is FREE. If you decide to buy a pass after taking your free class then you get 10% off any pass you'd like. It is our House Newbie Special for everyone when they join. However, the offer is only good that day only and IN the studio. After that, you can purchase a pass in the studio or online. We accept Cash, Check or Credit Cards.
